Gilmour Hockey 1997 CLUB

Gilmour Academy’s hockey program took the ice for the first time in 1997. We are commemorating the 25th anniversary of GA hockey by launching The 1997 Club. The 1997 Club will provide support for our Hockey Initiative Project and then will provide annual and long-term support for our Gilmour Academy hockey program. The program will also highlight the successes - in hockey and in their careers - of our incredible hockey alumni.

We are asking each of our alumni hockey classes to participate at one of the Sponsorship Levels detailed on this page.

Class Captains

We are looking for volunteers to help rally their class to meet this goal. Class captains will help us reach out to their classmates. Captains can enlist assistant captains to help reach the goal.

Proceeds Benefit

Initially, all dollars raised will benefit the Hockey Initiative Project, which will provide two new locker rooms and The 1997 Club Alumni Viewing Room in Rink #2 of the Floyd E. Stefanski Ice Center. Once the Hockey Initiative Project is complete, all 1997 Club donations will be divided equally between two funds — The Gilmour Fund and the Hockey Endowment Fund.

Sponsorship Levels

BRONZE

Any class that raises $1997 or an amount equal to their graduation year is a Bronze Level Sponsor. The class will receive one special-edition 1997 Club hockey jersey, which can be raffled off among class donors.

SILVER

Any class that raises twice the amount of their graduation year is a Silver Level Sponsor. The class will receive three special-edition 1997 Club hockey jerseys, which can be raffled off among class donors.

GOLD

Any class that raises $10,000 or more is a Gold Level Sponsor. The class will receive 10 special-edition 1997 Club hockey jerseys, which can be raffled off among class donors.
