Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are excited to share that our schoolwide Culture Fair will take place on Thursday, October 24, beginning at lunch and continuing through Community Block. This annual event is a wonderful opportunity for students, staff and families to come together to celebrate the diverse cultures that make up our school community.
A Culture Fair is more than just an event - it's a beautiful way to bring us all closer, promoting understanding, respect and unity by highlighting our cultural differences. From traditional foods and performances to displays and activities, the fair allows our students to both showcase their heritage and learn about others, fostering a sense of inclusion and belonging.
In this week’s Cultural Connections Corner, we extend a special shout-out to Mr. Jeff Klein, one of our dedicated physics teachers, and the Jewish Heritage Club. They will be hosting a Cultural Food Celebration next Tuesday, September 10 in the Atrium of the Classroom Building to highlight the diverse cultures represented in our community. This event is a shining example of how inclusion can bring us together and build excitement as we lead up to the Culture Fair.
We encourage all parents to engage in conversations with their children about the importance of celebrating diversity and exploring other cultures. We hope to see you at the Culture Fair, where our school’s collective spirit will be on full display as you are welcomed to participate in the Fair with your students.
Thank you for supporting the growth of an inclusive and connected community!
