To kick off the Reunion 2024 festivities, Gilmour presented the Alumni Man and Woman of the Year Awards to Dr. Greg Baran ’69 and Laura DiNovi Anderson ’84. Greg and Laura were introduced by their classmates Paul McGee ’69 and Muffin Sherwin ’84, and both shared fond memories and stories from their time at Gilmour.

 

Greg retired as a staff physician and chairman of the Department of Radiology at Euclid Hospitals, a Cleveland Clinic hospital. He has consistently provided support to GA since graduating, including organizing and hosting a 2018 reunion of the undefeated football teams of 1963, 1964 and 1968, in honor of legendary coach Vern Weber.

 

Laura has had a successful career in real estate, as a homebuilder, general contractor and land developer, leaving her mark in many NE Ohio communities. She also served as a Gilmour Academy Board of Trustee member from 2005-2011.
