National Merit Scholars
We received word this week that five seniors have been named National Merit Commended Scholars by the National Merit® Scholarship Program - Vincent D’Angelo '25, Liam Flynn '25, Luke Lipold '25 and Luke Peterson '25 and Carter Richmond '25. They join our two National Merit Semifinalists, Ian Miller '25 and Michael Wu '25, who were recognized in mid-September.
Of the approximately 1.5 million high school students who took the 2023 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT), only about 34,000 received Letters of Commendation in recognition of their outstanding academic promise.
