MC Networking Breakfast

This month’s speaker is Corey Burke, father of Sydney '28. Corey is the COO of Care 2 U Health Services Weight Loss and Wellness located in Wickliffe, Ohio. Operating a small business, Corey has to wear "many different hats." He oversees the day-to-day operations, marketing, accounting, EMR auditing, event planning/coordination, community outreach, social media, document formation, and patient and business compliance, among other things. He utilizes his degree in applied sciences from South University to incorporate physical therapy practices for each patient to promote healthy outcomes.

 

Care 2 U Weight Loss and Wellness provides compounded FDA approved GLP-1 weight loss medications directly to patients at affordable out-of-pocket costs. These medications are commonly known as Ozempic, Mounjaro, Zepbound and Wegovy.

 

At breakfast, he will be discussing the benefits of the medication, myths and truths, industry challenges and additional services Care 2 U provides.

 

Corey and his wife, Janaya, who is the owner and lead practitioner of Care 2 U, have four children and five grandchildren. Sydney is a member of Gilmour’s freshman volleyball team. She also plays volleyball for Rock City, and is a member of Jack and Jill of America.

 

In his “free time,” Corey is a minister, plays basketball, volunteers on the Hillcrest YMCA advisory board, is an active member of the Willoughby Western Lake County Chamber of Commerce, coaches his son, Christian, in basketball and baseball, and just discovered a TV channel that plays “Hoarders” 24 hours a day.
